Mar 03, 2010 · The Hadinge Coolant fed ID holders have a cap on the back that forces the coolant to go through the straight shank. They have 2 kinds of ID holders. One style has the coolant ball on the face and another style that is meant for feeding coolant through the shank of a tool. As long as the tool shank seals off the holder then it works.
Probably an odd guestion, but I need to ask because I have never personally seen a "proper" coolant system set up on a milling machine. My mill has 2 pipe plugs screwed into the rear of the table at each end, obviously for draining coolant/lubricant from the table when employing flood coolant on a mill.

It's better but still having build up on the surface. Coolant is white or milky when fresh. Changing to light brown grey on the surface. In the other machines coolant is green when fresh.

Jul 19, 2017 · What happens is that you have coolant in the line to the machine somewhere. This prevents the coolant from entering the coolant pump especially since this is an external pump. Sort of like losing prime. Blow some air into the coolant line in the machine and get the line open. Make sure that there is enough coolant to fill both tanks properly.

If you are running higher psi through the tool (400+ psi) you might think aobu tchanging out the rotary. Alos you can possibly convert the machine to a DIN style through coolant tool holder.
